Stride CRM is a newer entrant in the land CRM arena (launched by the folks at REtipster) and, much like Deal Complete, it aims to be an all-in-one platform for land investors. We’ll be honest: Stride and Deal Complete share a lot of philosophies. Both systems recognize that land investors have been juggling too many tools. Stride markets itself on having no per-user fees, flat pricing, and including features like phone, texting, etc. In fact, it appears Stride is also built on a white-labeled Go High Level foundation. We applaud Stride’s team for validating this need in the market – the need for a comprehensive Land CRM – and pushing the industry forward. If you’re evaluating Stride, you’re already thinking in the right direction (one integrated system for land).
While both platforms cover the basics of an all-in-one land CRM, Deal Complete differentiates itself in a few important ways:
Unique Land Automations
Deal Complete has some one-of-a-kind features that Stride doesn’t mention having. Three big ones: Neighbor Letter Campaigns, Automated Offer Repricing, and the Client/Partner Portal. These are highlighted as unique in our platform. Stride CRM, as far as publicly available info, emphasizes the integrated phone, landing pages, etc., but we haven’t seen them touting neighbor letters or automated offer bumps. These are innovations Deal Complete introduced because of our deep focus on land workflows – for example, only a land specialist would think to integrate automatically pulling neighbor addresses and sending letters upon acquisition. It’s a Deal Complete exclusive that after you mark a property as purchased, you can literally press a button and launch a neighbor mail campaign to drum up a buyer. That kind of out-of-the-box solution for selling land faster is something Stride currently doesn’t list among features.
Data Integration (Leads & Comps)
From what we know, Stride doesn’t natively integrate a data service for pulling leads. It relies on you using a third party to pull your list, then on you uploading your own lists (they haven’t advertised an equivalent to our DataTree integration). Deal Complete bakes in lead generation via DataTree so you can query and import property records directly. This is a crucial difference – with Deal Complete you need no external list source; with Stride, you’d likely still use something like PRYCD or DataTree separately to get your leads.
Data-Centric Approach
Stride is a CRM and only a CRM. This means that it does not have any of the data, scrubbing, pricing, listing, etc. workflows that Deal Complete has.
Feature Highlights
The real distinguishing factors come from Deal Complete’s extra mile for land-specific scenarios:
- We already touched on Neighbor Letters – huge for selling.
- Offer Repricing automation – if you want that second-offer strategy, we have it pre-built. Stride doesn’t mention it, though you could manually do it.
- White-Label Portal – if you ever manage deals for others or want investors to see progress, Deal Complete’s portal is a win. Stride doesn’t have a client login feature, to our knowledge.
- DataTree integration – get leads without leaving Deal Complete.
- Community and Learning – as part of Deal Complete, you’re connected with other land investors and resources specifically around our tool. Stride’s community might be tied into their Land Mastery group or general REtipster forums, which is fine but not as focused specifically on maximizing the CRM for land.
Which to Choose?
If you’re reading this, you’re doing your due diligence – good on you! Here’s our perspective: you probably won’t go wrong with either Deal Complete or Stride compared to doing nothing or using basic tools. But if you:
- Value cutting-edge automations that give you an edge (like capturing neighbor buyers or squeezing more deals from follow-ups),
- Want integrated lead pulling so you’re not messing with CSVs from a data service,
- Might work with partners/clients and want a portal for transparency,
- Or simply prefer a slightly more bespoke approach (maybe you have a unique process you want accommodated),
…then Deal Complete will likely be the better fit. We’re slightly more feature-rich in those niche land areas and pride ourselves on a white-glove support approach.
